Our Statements application gives clients clear, timely insight into their financial activity -delivering accurate account statements and reporting that support smarter cash\u2011management decisions.<\/p>

As a Lead Kotlin\/Java Engineer, you\u2019ll join our Berlin-based development team and take the lead in designing and implementing backend features. You\u2019ll also support level\u20113 production issues when needed. Your work will be key to delivering the robust, high\u2011performance backend services that make our Statements application dependable for clients every day.<\/p>

Your key responsibilities<\/b><\/p>

<\/p>

  • Shape features. Work closely with business analysts and product managers to clarify requirements and turn them into clear, actionable engineering tasks.<\/p><\/li>

  • Contribute to architecture. Collaborate with architects to evolve system components and strengthen the technical foundation of the Statements application.<\/p><\/li>

  • Lead by example. Support and mentor team members, promote solid engineering practices, and collaborate effectively across teams.<\/p><\/li>

  • Write code. Own features end\u2011to\u2011end: design, develop, review, and write unit tests. Document key decisions and APIs.<\/p><\/li>

  • Support production. Participate in level\u20113 support to keep Statements stable, reliable, and fast.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
